Hazel Grove Open Day - This Sunday

Remember it's our open day this Sunday! Turn up anytime between 11am and 3pm and enjoy some FREE golf coaching on your swing and short game. 

There will be Tri golf for the kids, membership offers, refreshments and the best part, the chance to play a few holes with a HGGC member.

Greens Update 

We intend to do a divot repair exercise on the fairways on Monday, 11 April before the season starts in earnest and whilst grass growing conditions will be good. 

We have had great turnouts of volunteers recently, so I would be very grateful if you could once again spare me and the Working Party some of your valuable time to repair divots. All welcome, the more volunteers the quicker the task gets completed. I have ordered the sun and need your help on Monday, 11 April between 08:15-12:00, or anytime you can spare please. 

Flat soled shoes are best, gardening gloves advised and please bring your favourite bucket & trowel for the divot mix. Light snacks will be provided for lunch. 

Please make a note of the date in your diaries. 

Details will posted on Notice Boards next week so if you are able to help please put your name on the list so that we can determine numbers for catering.

Junior Academy

I am pleased to announce that I will be launching my Junior Academy for new golfers on Saturday, 2 April which will then run every Saturday through until the end of October. 

- 2pm - 3pm for children aged 4-8 
- 3pm - 4pm for ages 9-16 

The best bit is they are FREE of charge! 

This year the children will work through the Junior Golf passport programme.

The pupils of Hazel Grove high school have been getting into golf with me over the past few weeks! This week we worked on hitting some low pitch shots by trying to score goals on their playing field, great fun! I'm planning on inviting them up to the club during the summer for further coaching!

   

One-to-one tuition prices for 2016 

- 30 minute lesson - £20  
- 1 hour lesson - £35  
- 6x 30 minute lessons for -  £100 (Saves you £20 ) 
- 6x 1 hour lessons for - £175 (Saves you £35 ) 
- 9 Hole playing lesson - £50 (Ideal to work on your course management, approx 2 hours) 


Junior Lessons (under the age of 16) 
- 30 minute lesson - £12

Junior Development Package 
- 5 x 30 minute lessons - £50 (saving £10 ) 

Lessons are tailored to suit your individual needs, any aspect of the game can be covered. 
The sessions can be taken outdoors or indoors. 
All lessons are backed up with video analysis. 
GC2 HMT launch monitor sessions are available.

I will be organising the ladies Get into Golf sessions throughout the year. Every Saturday morning from 10am - 11am, and every Tuesday evening from April onwards at 6pm-7pm.
