Junior Academy
15 Juniors turned up for the HGGC Junior Academy this week! We worked on Chipping. How to correctly hold the club, set up for a chip shot and how to strike a chip shot.
This was a brilliant turnout, and there was some good learning from all.
This week's session is on Pitching
Our Junior Academy for new golfers runs every Saturday through until the end of October.
- 2pm - 3pm for children aged 4-8
- 3pm - 4pm for ages 9-16
The best bit is they are FREE of charge!
This year the children will work through the Junior Golf passport programme.

AimPoint Putting Masterclass
Another exciting event coming to Hazel Grove is our AimPoint Putting Masterclass lead by senior AimPoint qualified instructor, and European Tour and USPGA coach Jamie Donaldson.
This will take place on Tuesday, 10 May with sessions running at either 10am or 1pm
The AimPoint technique has been adopted and used by top tour pro's such as Adam Scott, Ian Poulter, Lydia Ko, Justin Rose and more, and is seen to be a hugely beneficial technique to use.
The cost is £99, which I feel is great value for money considering the benefits it can provide for your game.
