Our junior team beat a very strong Warrington team in the 1st round of the BMW competition

A special mention to our Junior Captain, Jamie Parkes, who was in the last match on the course. With a gallery of spectators he won the 21st hole to win the match.

This session is open to both ladies and gents. 

This is the ideal way to try out the game of golf, or to get back into golf if you have played before. 

Coffee and biscuits are available in the clubhouse after the session.

Our Junior Academy for new golfers runs every Saturday through until the end of October. 

- 2pm - 3pm for children aged 4-8 
- 3pm - 4pm for ages 9-16 

The best bit is they are FREE of charge! 

This year the children will work through the Junior Golf passport programme.

I am organising a Ladies Chip & Sip evening at HGGC on Friday 17th June 2016 

9 holes, non of them longer than 50 yards and no hazards to go over! Teams of 4 with the best score on each hole out of the 4 golfers goes down on the card, GREAT FUN WITH NO PRESSURE. 

I will be out on the course to help you with some tips and advice. This event is open to non-members and non-golfers. If you have a friend who may be interested in giving it a go please bring them along. 

After the game you can enjoy a glass of wine or soft drink whilst I to a presentation for the winning teams.

Charity golf day

This event will be held in support of the Cooper Street Kids here at Hazel Grove Golf Club on Thursday, 7 July

Would anyone be interested in entering a team into our Charity Golf Day which will be held at Hazel Grove Golf Club on Thursday, 7 July. This will be in support of The Cooper Street Kids, Swellendam, South Africa (these are 35 children which Bill & Jackie Dootson have been supporting over the last 6 years).

The price to enter is £180 per team of 4, and will include golf and a 3 course meal (you can enter as many teams as you like). The team can be any combination ie. 4 ladies, 4 men, 3 ladies + 1 man, 3 men + 1 lady and so on, and is a shotgun start at 1.00pm, followed by the meal, prize presentation and a raffle/auction.
