Operation Everest - Conquering the Himalayan
This week we had over 20 volunteers helping to clear the Himalayan Balsam.
The team managed to complete all down the side and behind the 4th, the side of the 5th, around the 6th tee, behind the 11th green, the side of the 7th tee and some in the woods behind the 8th green.
A fantastic team effort,
Many thanks,
Mick
Such a perfect day...
The inevitable has finally happened! Nearly man, Jason Day, has finally become a Major champion with his three-shot victory at Whistling Straits - and in what fine style he did it too. Day finished with a 67 to record a 20-under-par total at the USPGA, in the process breaking the record for the lowest total score at one of golf's big four.
One of Day's biggest attributes week-in, week-out is his driving ability. Not only is he deceivingly long off the tee, but he finds the fairway with comparative ease. Take last week for example; Day drove the ball an average of 307 yards and found the fairway 73% of the time. Just think how much easier this game would be if we could have that sort of distance-accuracy ratio.
We can help you achieve gains in the driving department, whether this be through coaching or fitting. Think about the difference a simple change could make to your game: averaging an extra 15 yards off the tee means that you could have 15 yards less left in to each green; the equivalent to one or two clubs. If you want to make this game easier for yourself then come and see us in store, or get in touch here.
